Traditional presentation of Bulgarian cuisine – The menu offers a wonderful selection of Bulgarian dishes. Especially recommended are Shopska salad (a traditional salad from the Balkan cuisine) and the grill specialties of the house. If you are true to the original, order a Rakia or Mastika as an aperitif. Modern presentation of Bulgarian cuisine – The well loved delicious dishes from the Bulgarian and Balkan cuisine are redesigned and presented in a new light-parade for the eyes and a delight for all modern foodies and connoisseurs alike.

For the first time in Europe wine has been produced on Bulgarian land by the ancient Thracians /3000 B.C. / The Bulgarian wines win international prizes. Wine can be found in rejuvenating and revitalizing skin products. A visit without testing the red wine? Inconceivable! Bulgarian traditional souvenirs

Bulgaria offers a large selection of typical local souvenirs. The traditional crafts have a long tradition in Balkan country. Pottery vessels, plates in the traditional Bulgarian style, clothes or tablecloths with Bulgarian embroidery, wood carving and dolls in traditional country clothes are among the most beautiful souvenirs. If you find older copper or pewter in one of the markets or in a small shop, it is definitely worth considering buying it. Beautiful hand-painted icons are also made in Bulgaria, which is characterized by Christianity. A particularly popular souvenir is the typical rose oil, which is sold in beautifully designed handcrafted wooden containers. Traditional alcoholic beverages are also a popular souvenir. We recommend Troyanska Slivova Rakia (plum rakia), Pliska Cognac (brandy), Mastika (Anisschnaps) and Bulgarian red wines, there are so many good ones.

Bulgaria – still biggest lavender producer worldwide

Bulgaria still keeps its leading position among its producers worldwide with traditions in its growing here. Over the past years our country has managed to take the place of France, though the latter sees its endless purple fields of Provence as a part of its national identity. Driving through Bulgaria in the summer, you’ll see vast purple lavender fields all over the roadside, especially in Dobrudzja and between Karlovo and Kazanlak. Buy local lavender products and enjoy the fragrance of the Nature.

Bulgaria is a county of ancient thracians, who left us the oldest worked gold treasure in the world as a heritage. It can be seen on display at the Varna Archeological Museum.

You can enjoy the beautiful view from the Ferris wheel, right on the beach promenade and in close proximity to one of the biggest attractions at the resort.
